TNR stands for Trap-Neuter-Release. TNR is the most humane way to manage the feral and stray cat population. TNR involves humanely trapping feral and stray cats, sterilizing them, and releasing them back to their outdoor home. This prevents unwanted litters from being born and helps to curb the massive amount of cat intakes shelters are facing nationally.
Rescue allows us to extend our compassion and empathy to one of the most vulnerable populations in our community; cats and kittens. By providing adequate medical attention, rich and stimulating environments, and love, we are able to care for cats and kittens on their way to being adopted into their forever home. The goal is to adopt out every cat in our care into the perfect home for them.
The Upstate of South Carolina is home to thousands of feral and community cats. You can make a huge difference just by getting one cat spayed or neutered!
